Societatea Română de Medicină Reproductivă, Societatea Română de Ultrasonografie în Obstetrică și Ginecologie și Societatea de Endometrioză și Infertilitate Est-Europeană sub egida Societății de Obstetrică și Ginecologie din România, organizează la Iași, Conferința cu participare internațională - ,,Noi perspective în Obstetrică și Ginecologie"

Amânarea momentului naşterii unui copil, creşterea incidenţei infertilităţii primare şi a bolilor cu transmitere sexuală au dus la scăderea ratei fertilităţii în toată lumea. În toate ţările Uniunii Europene, rata fertilităţii este sub nivelul de înlocuire de peste 10 ani. Reducerea fertilităţii şi a natalităţii are un impact major asupra structurii demografice pe vârste – “îmbătrânirea populaţiei”.  Efectele economice potenţiale ale unei astfel de modificări sunt importante: contribuţiile populaţiei active vor scădea iar fondurile necesare susţinerii populaţiei în vârstă vor creşte.

Utilizarea tehnicilor de reproducere umană asistată  în România este foarte redusă în comparaţie cu alte ţări europene dacă ne uităm la indicatorii de performanţă : număr de cicluri/proceduri ART per million femei fertile şi număr de femei nou născuţi prin ART. ESHRE estimează cererea de tratament prin reproducere asistată la 1500 cupluri/1 milion locuitori (ESHRE 2001). În România datele sunt total defavorabile. În loc de 18 milioane locuitori x 1500 = 27.000 cicluri/an  România are 150 cicluri/1 milion de locuitori = 2700 cicluri/an, și multe efectuate în străinătate.

Simpozionul “Actualități în tratamentul infertilității” prin participarea echipei din Israel condusă de Prof. Dr. Ami Amit, va permite discuții interesante privind progresele înregistrate în acest domeniu fascinant. În plus trebuie să sugerăm pe baza experienței europene continuarea Programului Național de FIV cu extinderea finanțării la trei cicluri per cuplu și finalizarea unei Legi a Reproducerii Umane Asistate favorabilă cuplurilor infertile și societății românești. Participarea Prof. Dr. Gustavo Malinger, Facultatea de Medicină Sackler, Universitatea Tel Aviv, cel care a descris primul modificările sistemului nervos fetal în cadrul infecției ZIKA, va fi un motiv important pentru participarea la Conferința noastră cu scopul de a cunoaște actualitățile din neurosonografia fetală.

Având în vedere că aproximativ 50% din pacientele cu infertilitate suferă de endometrioză, în deschiderea manifestării va avea loc prima Conferință de Endometrioză din România. Prin participarea la manifestare a unor invitați cu experiență în domeniu se va realiza o dezbatere interdisciplinară a celor mai noi date privind etiopatogenia, diagnosticul și tratamentul acestei afecțiuni. În cadrul conferinței Prof. Horace Roman va transmite live de la Rouen rezolvarea unor cazuri complicate de endometrioză profundă care depășesc granițele chirurgiei ginecologice intrând în domeniul chirurgiei ablative pelvice.

The Romanian Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Romanian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the East -European Society of Endometriosis and Infertility, under the auspicies of the Romanian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, are organizing in Iasi, the International Conference ,, New Perspectives in Obstetrics and Gynecology’’.

The childbirth time delay, the increase incidence of the primary infertility and sexually transmitted diseases, have led to the decrease of the worldwide fertility rate. For over 10 years, in all EU countries, the fertility rate is below the replacement level. The reduction of the fertility and birth rate has a major impact on the demographic age structure - "aging population". The potential economic effects of one of these changes are important: the active population contributions will decrease and the necessary funds to support the older population will grow.

Compared to the other European countries, the use of assisted human reproduction techniques in Romania is very low, if we look at the performance indicators: number of cycles / ART procedures per 1 million fertile women and many female newborns through ART. ESHRE estimates the demand for treatment by assisted reproduction at 1500 couples / 1 million inhabitants (ESHRE 2001). In Romania these data are totally adverse. Instead of 18 million inhabitants x 1500 = 27,000 cycles / year, Romania has 150 cycles / 2700 = 1 million cycles / year, and many made abroad.

The "Updates in the treatment of infertility" symposium, with the participation of the Israelian team led by Prof. Dr. Ami Amit, will allow interesting discussions regarding these fascinating progresses in this field. Morever, we have to suggest, based on the European experience, the continuation of the National IVF Program, with the extension of financing to three cycles per couple and the completion of the Human Assisted Reproduction Law suited for infertile couples and the Romanian society. The participation of Prof. Dr. Gustavo Malinger from Sackler Faculty of Medicine of Tel Aviv University, who first described the changes of the fetal nervous system in Zika infection, will be an important reason to attend our conference, in order to discover new information about fetal neurosonografy .

Considering that about 50% of infertility patients suffer from endometriosis, in the opening of the event th First Conference of Endometriosis in Romania will be held. We will realize an interdisciplinary discussion by the participation of very experienced guests in this field, about the latest data on ethiopathogeny, diagnostic and treatment of this disease. During the conference, Prof. Dr. Horace Roman will report live from Rouen, the solution of some complicated endometriosis cases that go beyond the gynecological surgery, entering the pelvic ablative surgery domain.
